Tactilus High Performance Footplate
Tactilus® represents an enormous advance in plantar foot pressure mapping and gait analysis. The Tactilus® system captures foot pressure variation from thousands of tiny piezo resistive elements populated across our sensor plate. Very much like standing on a scale, the sensor plate records both spot pressure and the critical distribution pattern of that pressure. From its durable yet lightweight scanning surface to it’s feature rich software, Tactilus® provides everything you need to generate real-time orthotic design, detect potential areas of ulcer formation or take precision temporal and spatial gait measurements.
Benefits of Tactilus®
- A truer orthotic fit
- Your patients associate technology and scientific validity with your practice
- Fully customized software to promote your practice
- Customer takeaway (printout) has high visual impact and pass-along value
Why Use Tactilus® High performance footplate?
The heart of Tactilus® technology is how that data is assimilated on your computer screen. Tactilus® software captures a time series of data – literally millions of pieces of information and constructs 2D and 3D pressure maps, statistical data on total force, weight distribution pattern, locomotion, normal foot comparison, 19 plantar regions of analysis, gait line and much much more. As a final benefit, all data captured from Tactilus® can easily be exported for use in Excel or other statistical or analytical software packages.
Tactilus Standard Footplate
Sensor Products Inc. has been an innovator and manufacturer of surface pressure mapping technology for 30 years. Tactlius® Standard Footplate represents an enormous advance in plantar foot pressure mapping and gait analysis. The Tactlius® Standard Footplate system captures foot pressure variation from thousands of tiny piezoresistive elements populated across our sensor plate. Very much like standing on a scale, the sensor plate records both spot pressure and the critical distribution pattern of that pressure.
From its durable yet lightweight scanning surface to it’s feature rich software, Tactlius® Footplate provides everything you need to generate real-time orthotic design, detect potential areas of ulcer formation, and never before has it been this economical and user friendly to enhance the projection of scientific validity and credibility to your patients/clients.
Benefits of Tactilus®
- Dataport to plug in your own software
- Most affordable unit on the market
- Assimilates complete data about the foot sole in just seconds
- Extremely durable & rugged – designed for a retail environment
- User friendly – a new user can work the system in just minutes
Tactilus Flexible and Foldable Footplate
The Tactilus® Flexible and Foldable Footplate Sensor System is a resistive baropodometric platform, with WiFi connection and battery power supply. Small, rigid and portable, it can be connected both to the professional Tactilus® software for Windows through USB and to the new Tactilus® app for smart devices through WiFi connection. The new smart electronics also allow for a frequency rate of 200 to 400 htz!
